King Solomon prayed for prudence and wisdom so that he might govern God's people rightly.
Because his request was unselfish, God granted it.
When we pray, we should ensure that our desires are not motivated by selfishness.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank you for bringing us together this past weekend and allowing us to dwell together in unity.
I pray that you keep all of our brothers and their families in your protective arms. Keep us safe from all dangers, seen and unseen.
You are the divine physician, I ask that you heal all of our brothers and family members experiencing life's hard times.
God, grant us the serenity to accept the things we cannot change, courage to change the things we can, and wisdom to know the difference.
May we continue to dwell together in unity through our fellowship and prayers to our creator. Amen.
