So I'm watching Storage Wars and these beauties were found and featured on the show there was also a ring but they didn't show a close up....Jared and Brandy then took then to the Pasadena(CA) MASONIC TEMPLE where PM Greg Gabriel appraised that lot @ $700

    Appears to be an ashtray

I would have valued all at about 300.

I didn't think it looked deep enough.

Maybe they're engraved with something special but that PM is welcome to come shopping at my place ;)

A good friend (a bro) told me of a single metal tassel from an English type apron ( think Toye's) he saw in an antique shop for $80. Last 1 I threw out, I cut them off to give to him as a $160 gift/joke lol....

I think it was the ring that pushed it up so high. When he was looking at it he said it looked almost brand new

    Yes an ashtray....
As a brother pointed out to me that is someones Freemasonic experience summed up in a few odd items and makes you wonder what our grandkids will do with our Freemasonic items when we are gone!

I would have appraised at 0. Nobody throws ash on our beloved square and compasses

Actually, they were quite popular in the "golden age of smoking." Every lodge lounge had them and they were regularly used.
