The Meaning of Freemasonry

Disclaimer: The following is only my opinion based on my personal experiences and does not represent the attitude or opinion of any Lodge, Grand Lodge, or fellow Mason. Thank You.

Meaning is not something that one finds or discovers. Meaning is built, constructed, by our actions. A man chooses his purpose, and by dedicating himself to that purpose he creates something meaningful. Meaning is created by our physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual dedication to the purpose we have chosen for our life. Sure, if you dedicate yourself to Masonry you will find meaning there, because you put it there. But if you come to Masonry and wait around for the meaning to appear you will be sorely disappointed.
