Where is Antelope Valley?

Northern edge of Los Angeles county in California across the mountains from the downtown area. http://mwphglcal.org/ has a link to download a PDF with a roster of lodges.

Mr Bey, You will need to show up at the local PHA lodge in person to meet the brothers and ask for a petition. That's the traditional way to do it. Many lodges are not good at responding to emails.

Number 769 is Newhall Lodge if I recall correctly. A decade ago when I lived in that region they were very active. It's a good choice among lodges. The choice between the two recognized GLs in California is up to the candidate but if you have trouble making contact Newhall is a good choice within that GL.

Some lodges have meeting times posted. If you only have a day, 6:30 PM is a decent time. I you can't get ahold of someone by phone or email, just show up, introduce yourself, ask for a petition, and go from there. Easy peasy. Good luck.

EDIT: Be aware, looks like in Colorado, lodges are at "recess" during some months.
