What is your first memory of the Craft?

The first time I heard about Freemasonry was from my Mother, who informed me that my Great Grand Father was a Mason.

In 1949, when I was 7 I went to a Family Funeral and there was also a Masonic Service. It seemed like there were four dozen men from the community there with there aprons on so prim and proper. It was very impressive.

at about 5 years old i would go with my dad to lodges where he had a presentation on growing up at the masonic home and school. he recently got asked to give it at the Planters lodge and the brazos valley shrine club where he did an outstanding job. very proud of my dad!
