Getting a smartphone

Howdy Bros.

I have a good friend (yes a lady friend) whom had her phone stolen a Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III and she didn't have insurance on it.

What does it cost to get another phone or how do you buy a used one? What about a SIM card?

You might check on ebay. I've never bought one on there, but you should be able to get a Verizon phone on there worth the money.

Well turns out the value of property stolen was greater then what the insurance gave her so I am going to help her out with things she lost like her makeup, swimsuit etc. her parents I think will help her with the phone. I offered her a pay as you go phone but like I said I think her parents will help her with that.

Being single sucks. We need a single men's Masonic club. Whose purpose is to eat, drink (no alcohol) and have fun

A SIM card on Verizon is for LTE. If she didn't have insurance and is not eligible for an upgrade, I would suggest going to a Verizon Corporate store and inquiring what a replacement would cost. Unfortunately, it won't be cheap. Another place to look for a replacement phone would be craigslist. Just make sure the IEMI is not locked.

Good news! My friend ended up getting a Samsung Galaxy S4. All is well!
