Hello,

I recently became a brother. I am a Spanish immersion preschool teacher. I am looking to meet other freemasons who Re also teachers. I teach in Michigan.

Sorry...

Western Governor's University is my college (WGU)

edit: I thought you asked 'what' instead of 'where'

WGU is an internet college but it's based out of Salt Lake City, UT

Jjones,

Is the format easy enough, or is it very tough with very little interaction with subject matter experts or professors?

Hello,

How does being a Freemason influence your teaching? Have you been able to obtain funding from Freemason charities for projects in your classroom?

I've taken classes at a few colleges and WGU has easily been the best (and least expensive) college I've attended. The courses are well planned but it can be a difficult college if the student isn't organized and self motivated. There's also quite a bit more work per course than you'd do if you went to a traditional college. I find that I write, on average, about five 2 page essays per course...but that's usually all a course requires to get credit as well.

There are some tests as well, however you can opt to take them at a testing center or in your own home while being proctored through a webcam.

It's also very easy to get in touch with whoever you need, be it administration or your professor and the college also assigns you a mentor you have phone meetings with on a regular basis just to touch base with you. Everyone's been very helpful and friendly so far.
