Lambskin Apron

Does anyone know how much a replacement lambskin apron costs? The one you get when you are raised. Mine got ruined in hurricane Ike. I'm guessing I will need to ask my secretary to order one but just didn't know the cost.

Looks like anywhere from 30.00 to 130.00 depending on what you get. Here is the link--http://www.lauterer.com/bluelodgeaprons.aspx

You might also want to check out craftsmansapron.com. They have several available both is the square design and the rounded design depending on what you want.

You could also Google "J.P. Luther" and "Macoy"- Masonic supply houses. IIRC, we got our aprons from Luther.

So we can wear one of those fancier master mason aprons on those websites for funerals and things? All I had was the plain white lambskin that they gave me. I've been to one funeral with it.

From the GLoTX Monitor:

2. Proper Masonic dress is a clean white apron. Dress aprons, officers aprons, or Grand Lodge aprons are not appropriate except when the service is being conducted by the Grand Lodge itself.

If the 30-120 price is to much, I've made a few of the aprons myself. It's pretty easy/ straight forward. I had no experience doing it and got everything from the craft section at Wal-Mart. I even made the band with an adjustable clip instead of having to tie it.
