I have volunteered to make a Facebook page for my lodge and would like to know if anyone has any tips or pointers they would like to throw my way.
I actually have two distinct entities; the first is a "secret" Facebook group that will include all of the lodge members, wives, petitioners and other invitees so they can talk about practices, degrees, Masonic events and other things that most people won't find very interesting.
All of that is in a separate group so that it won't clutter up the public "page". The idea here is to create a public face for the lodge, that people won't feel intimidated or confused by.
What I am asking for, is ways to get people to "like" the page; how can I engage both Masons and non-Masons?
