DeMolay chapters depend on sponsorship by local lodges. The best place to start is lobbying at local lodges. The local brothers have to see a pool of interested kids and they also have to see the value proposition. Not only is sponsoring a DeMolay chapter a good thing to do on its own, senior DeMolays have a very high percentage of petitions.

You see the conundrum. How do you get a lodge to take action? You attend lodge, speak for the action and vote for it. Which takes being a member of that lodge. And by the time you can become a Mason you are no longer of age to be a DeMolay. Organizing DeMolay in India would be "paying it forward".

Yeah that's bad but when I "hopefully" join freemasonry I would strongly lobby for it as there are many youths like me(age 14-21) who would surely get a lot of help from DeMolay to become good and responsible citizens of the country as this age period is the best for learning.Anyway thanks for enlighting me on this topic.
