Preparing for the Entered Apprentice Degree?

I'm set to take the Entered Apprentice Degree on October 19th. Does anyone have any thoughts on preparing for the EA degree? I'm excited but also nervous.

Just open your heart and mind, pay close attention, don't do any forward study, and just take in the experience. It will be one to always remember.

Perhaps a bit of meditation on why you've chosen this path, but beyond that, just relax and try not to over-think it. The Brethren have the preparations under control.

I went through my EA degree this morning. It was a great experience and I'm looking forward to continuing my degree work.

My EA is the 23rd I can't wait. Does the fellowcraft ceremony happen on the day you pass your ea proficiency test or a meeting after?

In NM we'd return our proficiency at a Stated Communication, and scheduling the Degree became the next order if business. It's rare to see them done the same night, but not unheard of.
