Tonight is the night that I will be raised along with my FC brothers! Can't describe how I feel, it is a mix. I will post later.

It is impossible to describe with words being raised tonight. The degree team was amazing, the lessons, and light that was gained was special. PHA lodges from all over Texas came together for our midwinter session to be part of it. To be raised with nearly 90 brothers from all over Texas was something that I will never forget.

I'm assuming you are doing your proficiency today and passing also. Just take deep breath and recite the lecture throughout this day. Hopefully your coach has prepped you well. Enjoy the FC passing tonight!

Correct and thanks. My mentor really hasn't ha the time to help me out at all (not throwing dirt) but I think I got it on my own. It took me like a week just to try to remember everything that happened that one night an put two and two together to help me read this cipher. Now I've been working on the memorization. I've got it down for the most part but there are a few questions and wording that trips me up but we'll see what happens

LastKing, don't worry about the wording that trips you up. When we were doing our proficiency there was always the SW or a willing PM who jumped in with a word here are there to help. In fact during our FC proficiency we would begin to answer and someone would say, "I'm satisfied, move on!"

Yea we did staircase then started didn't get much help but they would let us know if we missed something. All in all it was a lot of fun. You'll do great.

PLAH3 That's funny! When we did our 2nd proficiency it was less help and I was the captain of the cable tow so I would throw a word out here and there. Sometimes the PMs and WM would look like, "I know y'all didn't just miss a word!"

Be cool my brother and don't even begin to think about the FC passing. The amount of info is immense. Even now as I reread the lectures and rituals as a MM I'm still awestruck at what there is to learn.

Masonicdove yea it was. But I shot off a lot info so I think that's why they helped a little. Do all FC cover the 47 problem

PLA from what I understand it depends on the lodge. Now you might experience bits of it in your initiation and passing. Ultimately, know your cipher or lecture, well you know that already. LOL. All I'm saying just don't add anything that you were not taught. Bottom line avoid going places that you have no business going! At my raising the person who was over the degree team reminded us that as new MM's don't seek to challenge another mason because we might be taken to a house that we are not ready to enter.

Lol well I was passed. The experience was even more informative than the initiation!! I'm going to sit in on another Lodges FC passing on Monday with the blessings of both lodges so I can try to piece together what the hell just happened! Lol a lot of good stuff there
