Pursuing Masonic degrees

The degrees you mention are the degrees presented in the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Southern Jurisdiction, USA.
You cannot take the Scottish Rite degrees in a Masonic Lodge. You must take the degrees in the Scottish Rite temple in your area of residence.
Some Scottish Rite Valleys (the individual chapters are called "valleys") Present the degrees in one day. Some take two days.
The meetings where the degrees are presented are called "reunions".
I attended a reunion in Norfolk VA, were the SR degrees were presented in one day. The reunion begins with the 4th degree, called the "Secret Master" degree.
The other degrees are either conferred (performed on stage), or "communicated", (read aloud from a script).
The reunion takes all day, and the reunion is closed with the conferral of the 32d degree "sublime Prince of the Royal Secret".
If you wish to participate in the Scottish Rite, I suggest that you contact the SR valley in your area of residence. You can ask if they hold one-day or two-day reunions.
If you wish to participate, then ask for a petition (you must a Master Mason, in good standing, in a Grand Lodge, that is recognized by the Supreme Council 33rd AASR, Southern Jurisdiction USA).
