Hello all fellow Masons! I want to share an exciting event coming up on June 26 at the Texas Ranger Ballpark. The Rangers have invited the Masonic Knights Templar of Texas to perform as Color Guard for the opening of the game! This is a first for masonry, Knight Templar and major League Baseball.

Come on out to support your brothers and fraternity! Hopefully, this will be the first of many years to come.
I also want to encourage all Knights Templar out there to also petition your local professional Ball clubs to get your foot in the door. It is rare to have an opportunity to be able to show our fraternity off in public, so these event are GREAT for us.

The trick to landing MLB? Start with a Minor League, take pictures, and get a good reference from that team. It is called, Building a press Kit. Any Commandery can do it. It just takes that first step. Hopefully we can get Knights Templar all over the country doing Color Guard for all the Major League Teams.
Good Luck and hope to see some masons at the game! Go Rangers!!

Is it going to be the Grand Commandery of Texas or a specific Commandery in the DFW area?

I seem to recall that it is Southside Commandery in Fort Worth that set it up.
