During a recent vacation to Tn And Ga I had plan on visiting 2 lodges one in each state. Unfortunately I only got to visit the one in Ga. I had a Grand Master coin (from Fl) with me that I was going to give to the Master of the lodge but while at the meeting I witness 2 of their EAs standing proficiency. Their instructor was a young mason himself but it was 1 of if not the best examination that I have seen. This lodge is on the verge of dying but if they can find a few more good men like the instructor it might be saved. Long story short I gave the coin to the young instructor and and let him know how impressed i was the EAs and the examination and tried to encourage him to keep up the good work. I said all that to say this sometimes when you have young masons working hard in the lodge a simple word of encouragement and simple token of thanks will go a long way in show that their hard work is appreciated.
