Help bring my family together

Seasons greetings brothers and brethren. The reason I am posting a message on this forum is that I am seeking a helping hand to assist me in getting back to my home province of New Brunswick. The story goes like this. I moved to Ontario in 1997 as a single young man looking for work. The job I got was as a blaster in an open pit. I worked for that company for about 8 years. A posting came up for a better job at a different mine and it was for an underground blaster so I was excited to get it since the winters are so cold here in northern Ontario. Since I moved here I met my wife and we now have 3 children(2 girls and a boy). Everything is fine. Our health is good and my job is great. I am now lead blaster and the spare supervisor. The only problem we have is that we are not close to any family, and family is a very big part of my life. I believe children should be around there grandparents, uncles and aunts for holidays, birthdays and school concerts. I have been trying to find work back home but it is very hard to look for work when you are 1800 km away. The last two companies that I applied for both responded with they have a "local hiring policy" and since I live in Ontario I would not be considered for the positions, even if the jobs are located in my home town where most of my family lives. I want to be square with you and on the level. I am not leaving this post asking for a job. I am leaving this post just asking if anyone knows of any good jobs coming up in there area that I could apply for, like I said it's very hard searching for a job from 2 provinces away. I have family and friends looking for me but it's been many years and still no luck. Any help will be most appreciated weather it be a person to contact or just a company name that may be looking to hire. I am aware that this may not be the best place to do this but I am starting to get desperate and who better to ask for help then from a brother of the craft. Thank you for taking the time to read this. My skills are heavy equipment operator, blaster and labour but I am willing to do most anything. I am a very quick learner.
