How to join?

You have to ask. In most jurisdictions a member can not ask you to join, you have to ask him. Do you know any friends or relatives who are Freemasons? If so ask for a petition. If you don't know any Masons then check the yellow pages in the phone book or use the internet to find lodges in your area. Find out what time that they have their meetings. Most lodges have a get together over a small meal about an hour before the meeting. You can visit a few to see which one you may like to join. You can then visit with them regularly before the meeting to get to know them and let them get to know you. If all goes well after awhile you will sign a petition and you will be on your way. Good luck.

He may can be of help. If not simply visit lodges on your own and you will find one that is a good fit. Good luck and keep us posted.

Mr. Reeves,
I found my lodge by going to my state's grand lodge website. There I used a lodge locator and got the secretary's number. They'll likely invite you to come before a meeting and join in fellowship over dinner. I think it's easiest this way if you don't really know any in your area. I was new to the town and this way worked great. I hope everything works out for you! I just completed my FC degree and have loved every minute of it so far. Good luck friend.

I'm interested in becoming a mason and serving my community, how do I join?

2B1ASK1... I would so reach out to the Grand Lodge in your state. They will more than likely have a brochure they can mail to you with information that will give you some history on Freemasonry, who we are and what we do. Good luck.
