I know several brothers like this. Gotta get to degree work 30 min early to eat. One lodge I attend ,their motto is IF WE MEET, WE EAT ! In the past 4 years I always find something amusing.

And I don’t have a problem with it. banqueting is an important part of the building the fraternal bond

Food is important. One of the stated reasons for forming the first Grand Lodge was the revival of the annual feast that had been neglected. Where I think we fail is when our "feast" is a few brothers standing around paper plates with a few hot dogs and stale chips.

Nothing wrong with that I am just happy to see the brothers in the lodge. And at that note sauerkraut and bratwurst Saucon Lodge No.469 coopersburg Pennsylvania today

If they're serving bratwurst and sauerkraut, I hope it's after the meeting. I'd hate to be trapped in a small room for any period of time with a group of men who had that working through their digestive tract.
