As the 'Tyler's Toast' used in my Mother Lodge says:

Here's to absent brethren
Who on duty's path do roam.
To their home land, to their home lodge
May their thoughts come drifting home.
May the G.A.O.T.U guide their way, and keep their feet
While the path of duty holds them, 'till the circle be complete.
May He guard them, guide, them, keep them
And, whatever fortune sends,
Return them to their Mother Lodge
No longer 'Absent Friends'.
