Hello from the Uk! Advice needed and appreciated!

Hello,
I am very interested in becoming a Freemason. My grandfather was one of the 32nd degree I believe. The dedication that man inhabited was immaculate. Anyway, I'm not sure how much I can say of what I know, but I am particularly curious of learning of the Masonry rituals. My Grandfather had a little book with coded symbols to help him remember I believe.
If anyone could offer a place to get in contact, it would be completely confidential and I also totally understand if no one feels comfortable.

Also,

Don't want to make it sound like I'm desperate (although I kind of am...) but I'm not just seeking this information out of pure curiousity, it is more to understand some things that have happened, and make sense of them.

I am also planning to join my local freemasonry in the future, when I am done with Unoversity.

Until then, I would really appreciate some help.

As mentioned there are 3 separate and distinct Grand Lodges operating within the territories of the UK and they are not the same so which country are you in?
Regarding the ceremonies you won't learn them until you are actually accepted to join a Lodge as that is when we introduce you to them and we do not encourage any form of pre-study. Just to point something out to you until you actually join a Lodge any interest in our ceremonies can ONLY be curiosity.

Here are some websites that may be useful:
In my experience it's really up to you to take the first steps and familiarise yourself with freemasonry. There are plenty of resources on the internet.

As usual, do not read the actual ceremonies, or your experience will be diminished when and if you become a mason. There are however plenty of other things to read, for instance on the history of freemasonry.
