Galli says he and his friends were sitting at a table during brunch break when the vice principal asked two of the boys to remove American flag bandannas that they wearing on their heads and for the others to turn their American flag T-shirts inside out. When they refused, the boys were ordered to go to the principal's office.

"They said we could wear it on any other day," Daniel Galli said, "but today is sensitive to Mexican-Americans because it's supposed to be their holiday so we were not allowed to wear it today."

I don't even celebrate 5 de Mayo, it is not an American holiday and it certainly isn't a huge deal down in Mexico, unless you live in the state of Puebla. 5 de Mayo in this country is just a marketing strategy.

I celebrated Cinco De Mayo with chicken fajitas and all the sides while wearing my Spurs jersey before last nights game. I think this is t-shirt thing is really going over the top. Up here in Maine, while shopping for groceries at the mega Walmart, I was looking for the mexican foods and finally found in the ilse marked "Hispanic Food". I don't think THIS is politically correct.
