What do I do

What do I do if I want to go to another lodge. I've been out for over a year and I left because of some problems at my previous lodge which left a bad taste in my mouth about the masons. How do I go about petitioning another lodge or is there anything I can do.

then your original lodge needs to release you to the new lodge. it's a form the secretary from the new lodge will send to your old lodge. it's not a big problem.

What's bad I guess is that everyone in my old lodge knows someone in one of the lodges around here or someone know someone at my old lodge and indont want to start any drama

i don't suppose there's an easy way out, then. it'll blow over soon enough if it does cause drama.

I would recommend that you contact Grand Lodge and ask them who is the District Deputy of your district, and tell him in person what the problem is. I will bet he can work things out for the good of both you and the lodge.

This sounds like the best advice.
