Masonic Student Organization at University

Would it be legal under Grand Lodge law to start a Student Organization at my University? Can the words "Masonic" or "Freemasons" be used?
The purpose of the organization would be to unite brothers of the craft on campus and open to students, faculty and staff for fellowship. If people who aren't Masons want to ask any questions we'll answer them. It would NOT be run like a lodge, or with rituals.

Here in England, we actually have Lodges specifically attached to several of the universities. However, we're set up in a slightly different way, and I guess it's not so easy to set up such Lodges in the US - although I know Harvard has a dedicated Lodge for students and staff, for example, so it's evidently not impossible to do that in some jurisdictions.

I know little about the rules in GLoTX, but I'll be surprised if it turns out that there's a rule to prevent it, since you're only talking about an association of interested persons rather than a Lodge, and there's surely nothing to prevent a Brother from identifying himself as a Mason if he chooses to do so. I'll be interested to see the answers from those who know your specific rules.

the words mason and freemason aren't trademarks, but check with jurisprudence. they may not want you to, but there are all sorts of masonic clubs out there.

Thanks for the replies brothers. The reason we do not want to open a Lodge on campus is because we don't want to take membership from the Lodges in the area. That would be great though if we could open one!
