Air Conditioning

Well, we've heard once a year, haha but oh I'm sure it's been 5 years since we've had ours done. We did have some issues up in the attic with pipes getting clogged and the drain pan overflowing, which, if we would have gotten is service would have prevented. This spring is the year though, getting it taken care of.

I have yet to own my own house and my apartment complex takes care of these things swiftly or has a 250 pound Scot sitting in their office with no intention of leaving.

I/we get both of our units serviced once a year. Of course it is less painful for us since we have "Home Warranty" coverage.

I recommend you get your units serviced twice a year. Once before the beginning of the hot season and once before the beginning of the cold season. This way you will find out if a part or the entire unit must be replace before its 30 degrees or 90 degrees. If you don't have a service contract I recommend you purchase one. If you happen to live in an apartment home remember not to give the serviceman a hard time. "Air conditioners are like eggs they are cheaper in the country"
