I had no idea anyone from here was going to be out there and would have loved to have met some folks.

I was the poor sap responsible for Mansfield #331's entry into the BBQ contest. I got there yesterday at 7pm and cooked all night. I just got home from there actually. I've been awake now for nearly 40 hours, and I feel like it...

I'm going to bed.

I was the guy stuck at the jump houses. My kids would go nowhere else! I think I saw you Ashton as I was leaving on the other side of the park but my kids run the show and they where demanding we go the cousins house. Good to see you again Brother Blake it is always a pleasure. Good times all around!

Went out with my girlfriend, I was wearing a green and white stripes Mexico soccer jersey, oh! And carrying a pink lawn chair for my girlfriend. Beautiful weather, nice country music, good food and a very friendly environment.

I am was right there with you Bro. Ashton. I was there with my team "Rub Me Tender" from Thomas B. Hunter #1356 since about 9:30PM Friday night. We were the group with the guitar and singing off-key... We were the team that placed 5th out of 27 entries!

So very sorry that I missed you!

I hope that we do not go quite SO long before our next visit Brother! Sorry about that, I was trying to keep up with one kid at the bounce house and photograping the event for the sponsors... I ended up taking about 120 pictures Saturday!

DANG IT! So close and yet so very far... It seems that I missed you several times yesterday then. You and Blake must have been talking over there while I was trying to sit a bit at our raffle ticket tent accross from the bounce houses. Maybe next time Brother!

Sorry that I missed you too Bro. Ben! It has been a while since we've seen each other... at a MM degree if I remember correctly (yours)!

Did anyone else find the humor/irony in having a Masonic Family Day and a petting zoo with GOATS?

any pictures?

Oh gosh, I hope not, not of me anyway. I thought it would be a great idea to go tent camping the night before, and needless to say, I looked rough..haha. I accidentally left my tennis shoes and razor at home...so I looked like a bum..hah

This was my first year to attend and WOW what a cool event! It was MUCH MUCH bigger than I had anticipated! There was no parking fee, entrance fee and all of the kids activities were FREE. The Elvis impersonator was kinda creepy but once the sound system was fixed, he sounded pretty good!

I can't express how thankful I am for this event! Great stuff and hats off to everyone involved with it!

Yup! As a matter of fact, I think last time we met was at your lodge, I swung by to pick up a lapel pin from Bro. Bryan Price from the GLoLA. The Masonic Family day was a really nice social gathering, so many masons in one spot!

any pictures?

Actually YES. I was asked by the 14th Masonic District to be the official photographer for the new forthcomming TMRC Family Day Website. All in all I took about 150 pictures through the day Saturday. I am going to got through them this evening and weed out the not so great ones and provide a CD copy to the TMRC and the Grand Photographer along with a release to reproduce. As soon as they are up on the new TMRC site I will let everyone know.

Sounds like an awesome time. Can't wait to catch all of you at a gathering sooner or later, hopefully sooner though.
