My brothers, I was recently risen to the sublime degree of master mason and due to training that is coming up, I must return my proficiency on the 20th. What have you found to be the best method of studying?

Repetition, repetition, repetition. For me at least. Drilling over and over until I get it right. Seems the military and law enforcement folks like this kind of way, I think we're all hard wired for it at least, haha. That's the way that got me through all the work, just kept going over and over the work with my teacher daily.

Yeah, I would say much repetition as well. That's easiest. I don't know of any secrets to make it magically happen faster. Wish I did.

Colt.barker,

Seeing as you are now a Master Mason, the required course of study should come quite easy for you. I can think of only the OB being tedious or difficult to ingest. In fact I can not think of any MM recently that has not been ready for his "return" prior to 30 days. Remember your other degrees lay the foundation to the Sublime one.

Study, Repeat; Study, Repeat; Study, Repeat.

Don't concentrate so much on "having" to learn it, or you'll end up blocking it all out. You will be surprised how much you already know know of it. Concentrate on getting the obligation down, and even that you already know half of it. So see, you are already further along then you thought.

Brother, all the remarks to your questions are the same. YOu just have to do it over and over again. Like the other brother said, you would be suprised how much you do remember. Do as he suggested and concentrate on the obligation. The rest leading up to that you will have just by having gone through the other degrees.

Brother Barker, I turn mine in tonight, there is an easy way to get thru it all, with the assistance of the questioner.... Relax, enjoy, do it.... The OB is the hard part, but i'll wager you already know it. Best of luck, and if for some unknown reason, I don't make it thru tonight, someone will let you know what I did wrong....lol

I return mine on thursday. And I'm good now lol. Repetition won the battle. There's a few answers I need to tighten up my shot group in ( I leave out or miss a few words here and there) but I'll be good by thursday. Thanks for all your advice.

I suppose you learned well enough in the first two degrees to be looking to that class "And furthermore" line. Now that you've got the scoop and are going over your work make sure that you don't forget the following:

BREATH

it's even more important in this degree.

Going over your work in the hot chair with one or two brothers practicing their coughing and moving around is not a bad idea. It will all be fine and over with before you know it. Then, you can get down to some serious light.
