Traveling West to East in Search of Masonic Light???

Brothers, Newly Initiated and those interested in the Craft,

I have finally compiled and categorized the last 4 years of my research into Masonic literature. The result is 460 electronic books, 4.3 GB of information. The books are outside of copyright, almost all of them are from the 1800's and early 1900's. These are legal to own as the copyrights have all expired.

I am a Scottish Rite Mason, I used to visit my SR Library in San Diego a number of years ago to continue my Masonic education as my Blue Lodge did not do much education on the degrees of masonry, their history and meaning. I could check out books free, but always wanted a library for home. I started purchasing books on ebay...that got really expensive fast.

I begin to discover that I could find many of these titles from universities, the library of congress, and other online sources. I was able to find most of these books as scans directly from the text, in other words, the Adobe pdf is the exact copy of the book, so it is like having the actual library on your computer...amazing. (and adobe reader is a free download if you don’t already have it)

I now have an auction on Ebay...the price includes shipping and the cost of the DVD and jewel case, and the cost of using my computer and network, in addition to ebay and paypal fees...I am not getting rich here at all. I used to have an online file share, but people abused it and I shut it down a couple years ago...I find a DVD to be much more manageable and others on different forums seem to like it.

Here is the link to the auction...

Please do not read this as my only reason for joining this forum. I am still pretty new to Texas and have just found this site, see my introduction for more details. I hope that if you are in search of books on the craft and our Masonic history, you will take a look. It has been invaluable to me.

Sincerely & Fraternally...

Good Evening Brothers,

I wanted to post a quick update here. First, if anyone is interested in my list of books and authors, please PM me or send me your email and I can forward it. I have had alot of positive response to the auction and just added another 15 books. Of course, I did already have 2 people try to scam me, but oh well, that goes with the territory I guess. Needless to say, I decided to offer international shipping. It will automatically calculate based on your location. This was based on requests I had in other forums from Brothers and Sisters abroad, one brother was actually writing a thesis on masonic history for his master's class, now that is just plain cool.

Good luck on your travels, god speed and god bless.

So Mote it be!

Tom G
