All I can say is...I'm speechless. I expected something terrific and a lot different then the EA and FC degrees but I didn't expect the terrific emotions that would come from it. I almost wish I could start over again as an EA so I could go through the personal experiences of the 3 degrees all over again. I guess I have a lot to look forward to when I petition the York Rite!

Congratulations my Brother! Yeah, I had the same feelings of wanting to press reset so I could experience them again ;) The York Rite, at least in my jurisdiction, continues where the MM degree ended. Word of advice...take your time. Take notice of the lessons brought before you. Best of luck in your travels!

Congrats on being raised! When the time comes and you get to help confer a degree on a man you get that feeling all over again! (at least I do) That is one of my great pleasures in masonry is being part of a degree team!

Thanks Brother Blake. I feel the same way which is why picked up
the York Rite application and then put it in my desk drawer. I want to take some time sitting on the sidelines going to other Degrees and of course attending our lodge meetings and functions before turning that application in.

Brother Kenneth, thanks for sharing that. You just made my day with what you said. I can't wait to get to that point someday!

Congratulations Brother! I think you will enjoy the York Rite degrees as well. I recommend participating in or watching the Blue Lodge degrees and listen to the story closely. Your York Rite degrees will have even more meaning if you are familiar with the story you began when you took your EA.
