Hard drive

My windows box will not recognize an external iomega hard drive. The bios does, but not windows. I an pretty sure the drive is about to fail, but I cannot access it with any data recovery program. Any suggestions?

If you are thinking about just trying to backup your info so you don't lose it before your computer dies on you use a online backup site like carbonite or something like that until you can get a new drive and or computer.

Get a hard drive enclosure from best buy, back it up using another computer, return hard drive enclosure before the 30 days.
That should do it.
