my first charge!

Tonight I gave my first charge in the 1st degree to our new EAs about about animosity in the lodge and the import of their new apron. I didn't need a single prompt. The brethren and myself were very proud, I also was officially told by the WM that I will be elected to the chair of senior deacon in the new year. I also found out that my application was found in favor in my local royal arch chapter. It's gonna be a busy year!

Comgratulations, I recall the first time I did the EA charge and it was well worth the memory work. IMHO SD is the best seat in the Lodge.

Congratulations !!!! Great to hear about your participation in the floor work. Here in Pa., the Master does all the entire lecturing himself. A bit different from what other Jurisdictions do. Keep up the good work !!!!

Thx. The part I said was actually supposed to be the master. But I think it's so everyone can participate. My lodge hasn't had new members come in for a few years. This year and 2011 has been a surge, so new MMs get a shot

Glad to hear that your lodge is getting some new members. It's seems like an interest in Free Masonry is growing again.
I've conferred all 3 degrees & my favorite is the 3rd. The lecture in the East has such a powerful message. I've conferred 73 degrees(71 between 1980 and 1997 and 2 this year) and looking forward to reaching 100 !!!!
