I don't know if it started. They are being built by panda power funds. The one in Sherman has broke ground. According to the webpage they have both broken ground.

Thx Brother I been trying to move up that way my mother is going on seventy and she would like for us to get a little closer. I've been working in Ingleside Tx for the past ten year as a Nccco Crane Operator

I am on PRS at ERCOT and did some research and it looks like Pandas intreconnect agreement shows a COD date in 2014 and with a Combine-cycle of 1000 MW they should have broke ground. They had funding in July. It looks like it is going to be Siemens technology.
