Which to join NRA or TSRA?

I am interested in joining the NRA again (as a life member at $300.00) or should I join for three years for $75.00?

Also, what do you know about the Texas State Rifle Association (TSRA)?
Is it worth joining along with the NRA? Or just better joining the TSRA by itself? What membership level do you recommend for either organization?

Best,
Jerry

I'm no longer a member of either one. Was an NRA member for about 15 years. NRA kept pounding me with mail and phone calls.
TSRA is good organization.
I dropped membership from both because they fell on the long list of budget cuts.
Gun Owners of America and Jews For the Preservation of Firearms Ownership(JFPO) are top organizations.

Look them up brother. Best wishes.

I'm a Life Member of the NRA

I'd do the $300/life in the NRA

More numbers in a national organization are what we need right now!

I am a life member of both. You can do a payment plan for the NRA life membership but not sure if they will allow it for the discounted price.
Both are in need of support. It all depends on if you are more concerned with local (state) issues or national. I saw both being attacked when I joined so I joined both. I give support to each as I can.

I was an NRA rifle and shotgun instructor for the boy scouts. I let it laps 2006. The problem is they don't just confront the isues head on. I am a TSRA member now because they have lawyers intrestead in all gun laws natinal and state.
