New position

Recently we had our first District meeting of the year. My particular District (#34) has had the same officers for about the last couple of years now. Well, did have. We recently held elections and my Lodge has stepped up to fill the roles. I was voted in as the new Secretary/Treasurer for District #34. So I can now add that to my list of activities. Hopefully, we elect new officers next year also so I don't get trapped in the position like the last guy who had it for over 3 years. It shouldn't be too hard since we only pay out money a couple of times a year for schools and collect dues from only 4 Lodges. Anyway, wish me luck because I have a feeling I am going to need it.
