Good day at the bookstore

Had a pretty lucrative day at ol Half Price Books today. Found Mackeys Revised Encyclopedia 1-3, Goulds vol 2, a copy of Look to the East ritual book (1971), along with Hiram Key and a couple others. About $40 with some trade ins. I'm a happy guy!

I was there last week and all I could find was Freemasons for dummies and several anti Mason books. Guess you got all the good ones lol.

You know what's funny is they put these books, at least at Half Price Books, in the occult or metaphysical section.... Just makes me chuckle.

Just about any bookstore that's where they are. I imagine if you know nothing about the fraternity the only knowledge they have of if comes from the History channel so in their minds it makes sense lol.

Yup I think those history channel documentaries are hilarious!

You know the first time I walked into a lodge, being a man in my early 20's I was asked by an older brother, "you're not here because of that bullshit on the Internet are you?!" Made me laugh!

I've seen a few men come in thinking we were one thing or another and looking for the "secrets" for whatever reason. Bunch of weirdos out there for sure!

Nice catch. I'm going to be raised tomorrow and after becoming an MM I was interested in finding some good historical/esoteric reading material.
