    Your Ring

Yes it's really a choice. It's tradition in my family to wear the points towards you ( the G facing uou). My dad said he and my grandfather wore it that way because the ring is there for 2 reasons.1. To identify you to others as a mason, and 2. To remind you of your obligation. In the end its...

My dad, who is a 40 plus year mason. He gave me a box of his old Masonic belongings. There are several grand lodge coins from the American bicentennial. Theyre all from Grand Lodge of Ohio. Doctor Who. Hope I'm not the only mason who watches it.

You can watch it on Netflix if you have that. But you are right, the old episodes were not very well written. The current ones since 2005 are great. They have several different writers. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Freemasonry mobile app

Awesome! I used to watch it with my dad when I was young. It's much better now. The Christmas episode is a great idea for a new tradition! Freemason Connect Mobile

    Masonic Tattoo

I figured the obligation speaks of not scribing secrets or rituals. The compass and square are no secret, and G is the amazing part that I'm proud of most in freemasonry. I see no problem with symobl tattoos, just keep rituals and secrets sacred. Freemason Connect Mobile

    metal fans

I listened to Sabbath a lot. I'm more into slower metal really. Weedeater, kyuss, sleep, life of agony. I guess it's classified"stoner metal". I hate that term because not all of us are stoners that like metal. Freemason Connect Mobile

    Lodge numbers

Some states reserve 1-5 for military lodges. Others reserve more. It looks like some states just start with the grand lodge and continue at 2. Military lodges sometimes have a letter before the number. I have gathered this ftom reading up on it. Freemason Connect Mobile

    Any masons who skateboard here?

I make it a point to kick around the driveway at least once a year. For me its may 5th. I lost a good friend 5/8/95 while skateboarding. So I guess I make sure to roll around a bit on that day as a memory to him... and to keep hold of the good old days. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Freemasonry...

Why did you become a Mason?

To become a better man. I have seen how it changed my dad and grandpa. I felt that the most honorable thing I could do would be to become a mason, and be a better man. Freemason Connect Mobile
