I thought you received the crystal ball with the MW title?? Haha
I agree the charges could be drafted better. However, it certainly feels like a lot of SC Masons are on board with ousting the sitting GM and rejecting his expulsion of a PGM.

For some (like myself), the transition from the military back to civilian life was annoying on its own. The differences are vast and take awhile to acclimate to, so it's easy for civilians to come off as "annoying." However, in my experience, it's usually not for no reason. When a civilian...
MW Brother @Glen Cook, I am curious as to your opinions on how this is going to turn out, if you're allowed to speak to it. I'm hoping for the best as an "outsider", as I am under Florida jurisdiction not South Carolina. I fear for the SC Brothers and Masonry as a whole though.
I commend you for following your conscience, Brother. The hoodwink is a big deal, especially for the Entered Apprentice degree. Had I been subjected to the same GL order, I probably would have done exactly what you did, at least for the EA degree. The FC and MM are up for debate based on who you...

I became a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason on the 24th! Super proud right now. My grandfather was a SR Mason and I look forward to following those steps.

Brethren!
I’m participating in the Scottish Rite Master Craftsman program. I sent in my first exam a couple weeks ago. Does anyone have a timeframe of how long it takes to “grade” and send out the second exam?

Open to all opinions, my Brothers. Just a discussion topic I’ve been thinking about. Is an individual Lodge or Grand Lodge initiating legal action against another person/business/organization anti-Masonic at all? Why or why not? What about litigation against clandestine “Masonic” organizations...
Because nothing lasts forever and I’d rather be prepared in the case that something happens. Not expecting anything, but it’s better to be safe I believe.

It’s not only a PHA thing. From my understanding, the MWGL of Florida has a Mason at sight directive in its digest. Only the Grand Master can do it, and it’s exceedingly rare to the point that it’s not surprising nobody would know about it.
Edit: It is, in fact, within the ability of the Grand...
If you are renting your Lodge space from another Lodge, and were interested in creating some sort of fund that would go towards building your own lodge building; how would you go about it? Do any Brothers have experience with this, and were you successful?
