    Wearing the S&C in Public

I do not wear anything on my person anymore nor do I have any Masonic decals or tags on my vehicles . When it gets above 55 degrees I wear nothing but shorts , t-shirts and flip flops when I am not in lodge and I feel silly/tacky wearing a fancy/expensive gold ring dressed like a bum . I do...

And NO Skipper , if a book is revised or the copyright is updated to keep the copyright in good standing then it can not be repackaged and resold . The Ky Monitor HAS NEVER been in the public domain as the copyright has been kept up to date no matter the year said Monitor being repackaged and...

I will take the word of an attorney over Larry Kunk anyday of the week . You can not be serious !? Making a profit off of someone's copyrighted material IS VIOLATING COPYRIGHT LAWS ! That is one of the MAIN REASONS for copyright laws ! You can not be that blind can you !?

    Aprons

Can not answer for Texas but a Chapter or Council apron would not be allowed in the Craft lodge in my state . The only time they would be worn is during Grand Lodge session when all the gold collars were introduced . The Grand Line officers of the YR bodies may wear their collars and aprons...

So ISPs' employees in the call center are copyright lawyers now !? I did not know that ! ETA: So Skip , you are merely going to take ol' Larry's word for it huh , the very same guy that called his ISP and made claims that Masons were destroying his life by spying on him like he is that...

    senior deacon

SD is a great learning chair , you are at the center of it all . BUT I found that sitting in the Oriental Chair as my best and most memorable position .

I chopped this up to show the "Christian" values of the E 5/11 EFMJ buddies of ol' Skip . I was checking out their websites on a lark when I noticed they were selling the Kentucky Monitor (along with many other states rituals) in CD format . This Monitor is still covered by copyright laws to...

    Aprons

I wear my PM apron because it was a gift from a widow of a very great Mason . I wear it to honor his memory , and the difference between mine and other Past Master aprons is , like my fancy MM apron , it is white on white . It is beautifully designed and is on par with the most "fancy" PM aprons...

    Unfinished degree work

Brother , I know many who have not returned their EA catechism and move through the degrees . I have heard all the excuses but none hold water with me . They claim they are to busy to study but have time to watch football , go fishing , hunting etc; etc; so they have time to take a couple of...

    Unfinished degree work

I am unclear as to your meaning . If they have not received the entire EA degree , then this is not the fault of the candidate but that of the lodge's Master and officers . According to my constitution , the candidate must be "healed' if there were irregularities or omissions during the degree...

    Women Freemasons

I too have had this conversation with my wife . She sees no problem with all male Masonry . As a matter of fact she has stated that men (just like women) need a place to go that is male only and is very supportive of the idea . And since there is already co-Masonry and all female Masonry , then...

Go ahead and rant....we need the release

As Bro. Stewart stated , I would be more than happy to send you a few of ours (and a few from a few sister lodges) . I wish some , most , sometimes all Past Masters would shut the hell up and allow the Master and his officers run their lodge . I wish they would quit sitting on the sidelines...

    Strongly Discouraged...

You would be surprised by the answer to that question . A very VERY small percentage of Masons in my area are active in the SR . There are no active members in my two lodges , none are willing to drive the distance . We have the YR right here in our backyard . Dues are about the same in both...

    Fort Sill??

I can not blame you , I was stationed there for artillery school . I was so glad to graduate and move on to the fleet in NC .

    How did you do it?

I turned it in with my knees knocking since we had a packed house and the MW Grand Master and DDGM were on the sidelines . Oh , wait .... one session BUT we only do the Q & A for the first section of the degree , from the first question of "As an EA , Whence came you" to the "Working tools" .

When do you wear your Master Masons Ring?

When I was new , I wore it everywhere I went . Now ? Almost never . When I go to lodge or if I am all dressed up , if I remember , I will slip my ring on .

What Lodge position do you currently serve?

Master (AGAIN) in my mother lodge and Senior Warden (Master elect) in my second Lodge . Will also be installed as DDGM next month . Dreaming of the day I can be called "Past Has Been" .
