Please join us on December 9, 2011 for Alamo Lodge No. 44's annual Called Lodge Meeting in The Alamo, "The Shrine of Texas Liberty."
We will open in the Master Masons degree for a Past Grand Masters Appreciation night!


Your ladies are invited to a special session in Alamo Hall

6:00 PM - CHECK-IN/SIGN-IN at the Scottish Rite Library & Museum in the Ladies Parlor

6:40 PM - Procession to The Alamo
6:50 PM - Doors open for seating for the evening's events

7:00 PM
- A Master Mason’s Lodge will be opened in The Alamo.
- The Ladies’ event will commence in Alamo Hall.

9:00 PM - Dinner - Scottish Rite Temple Ballroom (Advanced ticket sales only.)

In addition to the Master Masons Lodge in the Alamo, we will be hosting:

1. An education and entertainment event for the ladies next door in Alamo Hall.
*** This event is also open to all interested parties, including EA & FC Masons and their guests.

Education & Entertainment will be provided by:
- Ms. Barbara Wright, Parliamentarian General of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas
- Classical music by a string quartet led by Ms. Katie Walston
- A special guest speaker from The Alamo Staff

2. Dinner honoring our Past Grand Masters & their Ladies (Scottish Rite Ballroom)

*** Tickets: $12.95 per plate
{Reservation must be made prior to cutoff at 3:00 PM, December 7, 2011}

Is this called meeting done annually?
Would have liked to try to make it, but less than a week notice isn't enough at my home.

Some type of children's activity would be nice too.

I hope it is an annual thing. I don't think I am going to be in the area in time to make it this year. If it is held each year I will definitely make it next year.

It happens annually around the first week after Grand Lodge, I don't believe there will be a degree, but the first meeting I went to they did an EA in the Alamo, it was neat.

I am going this year, if anyone wants to meet, hit me up. I try to make this meeting, but have missed obviously in the last couple of years.

I would love to. I am headed to Marble Falls for the weekend and plan on driving down to San Antonio to see my dad. Sadly though, I won't get in town in time to make it. Hopefully next year I will be able to.
