I currently just got on the ground at FOB Sharana, and am wondering if there are any other brothers on the FOB?

For those not aware, FOB means Forward Operating Base. Keep your head down Brother and God Speed. Thank you for your service, Brother.

    Sincerely & Fraternally,

I have a Brother at FOB Shindand. I don't know how close that is to you. He said he has not met any Masons there, yet. E-mail me if you would like to contact him. lthall@tx.rr.com
    Thanks, and stay safe, Brother!

Agreed. I remember it meaning Fresh Off Boat meaning recent immigrant.

There WAS a lodge out here we could attend but it dispersed. The only active lodges in theater are PHA Alpha Military lodges.

AF&AM vs. F&AM don't matter, if one is talking about the affiliations of GLoTx.

Do not walk into a PHA lodge unless your GL has recognition and visitation.

Which is another issue from the false distinction between AF&AM and F&AM. Outside the Prince Hall world, F&AM vs. AF&AM is just a matter of historical footnote.
