Anybody here in Alaska?

My Mother has decided that she would like to be able to say she has visited all 50 states. This will be accomplished once she visits Alaska, which she will be doing here,very soon. My question is...if she should run into a problem, and require some assistance, is there anyone from a lodge up there she could contact?
I would be grateful for any help, should she require it. I only ask since she is insisting on traveling alone on the trip, (her way of dealing with the recent death of my father)
