Assisting Our Brothers in Franklin, Louisiana

Brothers,

Franklin Lodge #57 is 164 years old and has occupied the same building for 119 years. Simply put, the Lodge is exquisite and treasure of Freemasonry. If you have an opportunity to visit this Lodge I would strongly encourage you to do so. The Brothers of Franklin 57 have done a fantastic job of maintaining this spectacular landmark over the years and have overcome the financial burdens associated with that task. Recently there were some structural issues discovered that threaten this great Masonic landmark. The estimated costs for the required repairs are are extremely high and Brother's are working diligently to raise the necessary funds preserve the building. To accomplish this objective the Lodge has launch a commemorative brick campaign. The bricks purchased will be displayed on the sidewalk in front of the Lodge building. I have included some links below. The first link is to the site for purchasing the commemorative bricks. The second link contains a brief history of the Lodge. The last link is for the Lodge website and contains some contact information. I respectfully request that you join me in assisting our Brothers in need. I would also ask that you pass this information on to the Brothers within your Lodge during your next meeting to help reach others than may be willing to assist. God Bless.

Brother Barrilleaux, let's spread it around Houston. As you know, we have many Louisiana brothers living in the Houston area. Send me a missive on my home e-mail address and I will see what we can do through the District 30 MSWA group to spread the word quickly.

Hey, when are we mounting a Cypress 1423 posse to run over to Franklin for a visit?

Some of you Louisiana lodge brothers start talking this up if you haven't. Every dollar donated goes a long way to getting things done.
