It is quite a big issue when our fraternity is stepping into 300th year since 1717 the 4 lodges formed the first GL in the world, namely the Grand Lodge of London and Westminster...

There was a page in Freemasonry Today about the items of celebrating the tercentenary, including breast jewels(medals) and ties

...for those of you interested to come to the event in Royal Albert Hall,
Royal Albert Hall only holds a little over 5,000 people. UGLE has approximately a quarter million members. I think the chances of visiting Masons who aren't a very big deal getting in are quite slim.

Greetings all.

Saw our MWGM on Saturday with his lady. They went to the celebration and said it was fantastic. They mentioned the budget was around $4m pounds, and there were several events, including dinners and such. 136 Grand Lodges were represented (most by their GMs I believe).

There is videos up of it, not watched them, but jsut found the link http://www.freemasonrytoday.com/ugl...ntenary-celebrations-at-the-royal-albert-hall

Was anyone here in attendance ?
