Does anybody have any information on East Gate Lodge #1153 in the Houston area. It does not show up in the lodge locator on the GL website so I am guessing it was merged with another lodge. The reason I ask is, I have a photo given to me by my uncle, who is 77, that was taken in that lodge probably back in the late 50's or early 60's. It shows my uncle, his father and his grandfather along with another of my uncles posing for the picture in the lodgeroom. Written along the bottom of the picture is: East Gate Lodge No. 1153 AF&AM.
I cherish this picture as it shows the three generations preceeding me, all Masons, all in the lodge room together.
