    Thanks for posting, I became a mason when I found out I was having a son, I wanted to be like my grandfather, who was a member of what is now norsemen lodge.

    It' a great pity that the virtual tour of the Grand Lodge in New York is no longer on line... it was awesome !

    One of my regrets in travelling to other GL meetings is that they often meet in a conference center or hotel. I never get to see the Temple.

    Thanks guys, the Temple was built in 1861/1862.
    We still have the original building map

    and the article in the local journal about the laying of the cornerstone
