It's devoted to the birth of Freemasonry in Italy, and to the birth of the state itself during Italian Risorgimento, made by Freemasons like the military chief Giuseppe Garibaldi (head of Primitive Rite of Misraim and Memphis, too) and Goffredo Mameli, author of italian anthem "Fratelli d'Italia" (that is "Brothers of Italy").

The Grand Orient of Italy, of which your profile indicates you are a member, is regular. The link you provide appears to be for that grand lodge, though I haven’t confirmed the address.

I would disagree that it is anymore devoted to the above subjects than American masonry is devoted to George Washington and the founding fathers.
