I joined after going to a wedding and seeing how one side of a family was all masons. I was at a table with 5 men that had all the same ring. After some conversation, I found a crappy lodge site and now I'm here.

I think you'll find that 69 years of men joining masonry, we'll all have a really cool story to tell.

Mine goes much cooler than that.

    I did, sort of.

Oh and is your Masonry not like National Treasure? Mine is. You must not be high enough up the "ladder"!

Absolutely! Although I am not a fan of the Davinci Code or Angels and Demons.

Not high enough up the ladder. Do you know me on a 3 x 3? I was a worthy brother, who had been regularly initiated as EA passed to the degree of FC raised to the sublime degree of MM. Advanced to the honorary degree of a mark master, presided as master in the chair, received and acknowledge as a most excellent master, and now exalted to the most sublime degree of royal arch. So what ladder are you talking about? Jacob's ladder. Cause that was just a dream of Jacobs. Your ambitious feet may tread round after round of the ladder that leads to fame in our mystic circle. And even the purple of the fraternity may rest upon your honored shoulders. You can even wear a whole purple suit like barney. Masonry is still nothing like the movies. If your lodge is, then I need to join your lodge.

I too have recieved the same as you in quite the same manner but with the additon of the Super Excellent Master, Orders of Red Cross, Malta, and Temple. All of which do not matter any more than that of the 3rd Degree Master as there is NO higher degree than that of a Master Mason.

It would appear my friend that you have mistaken my jest as offensive, and such was not my original intention. It is the belief of the profane that those of us without knowlege about the Templar Treasure, Ark of the Covenant, Holy Grail, and other such items are simply not "high enough" within the order to have such knowlege. Get my drift and meaning? I as well as other York Rite brethren can neither confirm or deny any of these indictments upon our great fraternity.... or can we??

It is all in good form my Brother, take a deep breath, smile, and lets meet act and part upon the Level.

Your right I'm sorry. A three feet hole and a thirty three foot hole both have the same level or the tops are the same. No house can live without the blue one.

Ditto, Wingnut. An EA from Calgary gave me a copy of The Man Who Would be King. Great movie.
