ANyone know if they have masonic connections? Their logo seems familiar.
Probably no more of a Masonic connection than these actual laborers.

All labor unions seem to have borrowed from Freemasonry, but Freemasonry borrowed from medieval trade guilds.

Here is the opening of the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employes, a union that represents railroad track maintenance workers here in the United States, and this "ritual" is very similar to other trade unions (including the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Chauffeurs, Warehousemen, and Helpers)

I cannot speak to that Union in particular, but yes I know of connections. Melbourne has one of the oldest trade union buildings in the world - and it had a lodgeroom in it. I know a Union used to use our Masonic Building for meeting pre and post ww2 - because the membership overlaped (it was located in a traditionally manufacturing area - now long gone as the suburb became residential in nature. I know Unions used to have a "tyler" guard their meetings. I know many Unions had a fraternal feel, some taking inspiration from Freemasonry and other fraternal organizations.

One day, when I have the time, I would love to do some deep research into this...

Actully I would say there is a lot of cross kontamination and that freemasonry and other fraternetys inherited many ideas from both trade unions and social movments (temprance movment etc.)
