my mother-in-law is so cute sometimes, the other day it was reviled to her i was a member of the nobel craft of masonry. she had been watching the history channel shows about the craft, so she belives if she reads it ,or watches it on t.v. it must bee true. so i had to educate her to the fact where not a cult ,or satan worshipers. needless to say after i educated her to the fact that we are neither. she was relifed and then realised her father was a mason long ago, so now shes more than okay with it. it just goes to show brothers,a tiny bit of info given to the correct profane, can help to spread the craft and hopefully help disspell the myths of us being a devious seceret scociety. i love this brotherhood and will always guard and protect its secrets, and do my best to up hold its tenants and laws. i love you brothers, and if you need anything here in iowa help is just an email away. remember brother john wayne was born here.

Good show brother. Yes, mothers-in-law can be cute. Most truly do want the best for their children.

When talking about those oppressed by the Nazi government, no one ever mentions the Masons. Kind of sad really, as almost every other demographic is mentioned, but all those brothers who were persecuted or killed as a result of their association are often forgotten.

Tangent: I wonder is any of the brethren from Germany that are on this forum have stories/insight they could share about that dark time in Freemasonry.

On topic: It's really cool that you have a new connection with your MIL.
