I'll be taking part in a meeting tomorrow for the first time as a master mason and right away I have a honor to serve as a steward. I'm slightly nervous but as it is not deggree night it should be alright and all I must really focus on is not to spilling wine on anyones tux at the dinner after the meeting.
Congratulations! Here in PA Stewards do not have a specific place or business to conduct in a meeting. All of their work takes place outside the Tyled Lodge. Best of luck to you and I hope you enjoy yourself as you take that first step that leads forward!
Best of luck to you. I am JS at my lodge and the job of the Stewards in our state is to help the JW with meals and to cope the altar. Not much to do but still a good place to start in the chairs.
Congrats - you can't expect to be perfect on your first night, and even the black belts of this game have a bad night sometimes... but its always worth participating in degrees
Thank you. I like the black belt analog. Eaven I'm a black belt in three different arts. In Masonry I feel like a blue belt. Next month we have a third degree for another brother and we actually have a practise before that so I hope I don't mess up this time.
What!!!!! Brother Bloke, you mean that I am not perfect after all???!!! Aaaaaaarrrrrggggghhhhh!!!!!!!
Congratulations and enjoy Was made a steward 7 months after my initiation and our lodge tradition is for the newest EA to do the working tools at the next initiation! That was 4 months in and then I did them again at installation. Definitely character forming! John
