Well Pat's not a shining example to look to imo anyway. Not to mention, a devout, lying, anti-mason.

I think his connection is wrong, but the events that he is refering to as signing the pact with the devil did happen. The 'curse' seems to be one of those persistent rumors that wont die and people use to point out, as did Pat, that every bad thing that happens is due to the 'curse'. Its actually an interesting story to read that I hadnt heard of before.

Only if you think someone else's religion automatically addresses Satan, then yes.

His take is a perversion of what happened and damnation of another man's vision of God.

I posted this elsewhere, but this is a Freemason who made a "similar" deal.

Antonio Maceo, known as the Bronze Titan, a Cuban revolutionary.

I like how the TV host who is interviewing Pat Robertson gives a half-hearted, "hm" when he says it. See minute 1:03.

I couldn't imagine God being opposed to freedom.

In my (Black) church growing up, they took the scripture so literally that it was taught the slaves sinned who ran away or revolted - for theft of themselves. I'm sure it wasn't an original idea.

Whether is true or not, it should not have been said publicly (at least not in the manner Pat said it). As a Christian, I don't like having Pat as one of our spokespersons.

Not to worry, he is no more a spokesperson for "Christianity" than Jesse Jackson is for all "African Americans".

Except one has a hell of a lot more support.

That's a lot of people writing checks to sustain him and his various organizations
